Most of our guests bring their own bikes to YCI; there's nothing like winding through the vineyards of Valdobbiadene or screaming down Monte Grappa on your bike that you know so well. We keep everyone's bikes and travel cases secure in a locked storage room at the hotel, and also have workstands, tools, and floor pumps available for maintenance.

Rental Bikes
If logistics prevent you from bringing your bike to YCI, you can rent an Italian bike for 30 Euro per day. Local Italian frame builder Michele Cavalera provides our rental bikes, and we'll arrange for you to be fitted professionally by his staff. Most Cavelera frames are aluminum Scandium alloy and spec'd with Campagnolo or Shimano components. Gearing is traditional 53x39 or compact 50x34, with a cassette suited for mountain climbs. All rental bikes come with a pump and tool bag. Just bring your own helmet, shoes, and pedals, and we'll take care of the rest.

Italian Bikes for Purchase
If you're interested in purchasing a handmade Italian frame or complete bike during your trip to YCI, please contact us to learn more about the process and available options. Depending on the timing of your trip, we may be able to arrange for you to pick up your new bike when you arrive at YCI, ready to ride. If you rent a bike, you may have the option to purchase it.
