Visit to Gipiemme Wheel Factory.The highlights of our trip were seeing the new H60 high profile, H40 medium profile and H25 low profile Professional clincher carbon wheel set. What makes these wheels so special are the carbon fiber clincher rim and braking surface that uses normal brake pads…the first on the market! The braking surface is a special carbon fiber resin with bits of metal that help dissipate heat and also results in better braking action.
All wheels have Swiss made aluminum bodies, stainless steel aero-spokes, 20 front radial laced and 24 rear 2 cross.
The H25 is a 2.45 cm low profile rim weighing 587 gr Front and 705 gr Rear
The H40 is a 4.0 cm medium profile rim weighing 6626gr Front and 748gr Rear
Suggested retail for wheelset $ 2500.00
