America’s Toughest One Day Race the Tour of the Battenkill 2011.

The Tour of the Battenkill and SRAM neutral support car passes the Start/Finish line in the 2010 UCI Pro Men's race.

The Tour of the Battenkill one of the toughest one day bicycle race, starts and finishes in Cambridge, New York on April, 10 2011. On this day, both Amateur and Professional competitors will try and conquer the dirt and paved roads on this grueling, rolling terrain course, that some say is “America’s version of Paris Roubaix”!

Last year I was privileged to have worked as a Motorcycle official in the 161km Professional Men’s Race which included many top National and International teams from around the world. And this year I have the opportunity to work Neutral support for SRAM, which provide technical support for all racers with wheels and if needed bicycles, in an event a puncture or mechanical arises during the race. I’ll be working the Pro Women and Men’s field helping in getting all the wheels to the racers who needs them.

Come on by Sunday the 10thand say Hi. Over 2000 competitors are expected in 35 fields! The first Amateur race goes off at 8:40am and the Pro Women at 11:30, and the Men at 1:45pm. For full race details check out the Tour of the Battenkill web site at: http://www.tourofthebattenkill.com/ .
