Your Cycling Italia

YCI's Italian cycling vacations are based from a family run, three star hotel near Bassano del Grappa in Italy's Veneto region. We've known the proprietors for many years, and they go out of their way to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable on your bicycle vacation.

Sleep Peacefully
The modern, newly built hotel we use has spacious rooms with one double bed or two single beds. Every room is air conditioned and has a private bath with shower or tub. You can also enjoy a little cable television in your room -- American reality shows can't hold a cannoli to Italian spettactoli -- before turning in each night.

Internet access and laundry services are available at the hotel as well, so you can stay connected and clean during longer cycling trips.

Store Your Bike Safely
The hotel has a locked room where we keep our bikes and travel cases. We've set up repair stands, tools, and floor pumps there, so you can maintain your bike easily. And if you take a side trip away from YCI, we'll be glad to store your bike and/or case until you return.

Ride to Eat...Eat to Ride
The restaurant at YCI's hotel serves great food that's typical of the Veneto region of Italy. You'll enjoy perfect pasta, grilled meats, and seasonal vegetables, all prepared with care and pride. We can accommodate special dietary needs, too, so don't hesitate to let us know.

Our breakfast buffet has loads of good stuff to fuel your morning ride: cereal and muesli, toast and brioche, fruit and yogurt, ham, cheese, and eggs,and coffee and juice. If you'd like a cappuccino, just ask and it will be made to order.

For lunch and dinner, we serve a three course meal with a variety of options. There's usually a choice of different home made pastas,meat or fish, and dessert, as well as salad or vegetables. Pizza is available every night. Bottled water, red and white wine, and beer are included, too.

Mealtime at Your cycling Italia is about more than the food, of course. Everyone sits together, recounting the day's activities and planning the next. We'll tell stories about the local area--from cycling and racing, to Italian history and culture. Many of our guests make new friendships that extend far beyond their week or two at YCI, in part from the camaraderie they share over a glass of wine and plate of fresh pasta. What could be more Italian than that?
